Allow Me To "Espresso" Myself In This Quick Introduction!
Yours truly. (We will work on getting some better quality photos done!)
My name is Nelson and I make up the other substantially less important half of At the Coffee Table (ATCT). Since I’m generally terrible at this sort of thing I’m going to steal a page from Dani’s book and just answer a couple random questions for ya:
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Now this is a tough one, so I have a few answers for this one. My first would probably be a nice flat in the heart of London, I’ve always had a strange infatuation with Europe (Probably because I was born there) and especially England and the UK. (You can ignore this short bit I’m just hiding a couple extra sentences here and there so Dani won’t yell at me again about my first blog post being too short)
And my second choice would be a small cottage in the rolling hills of Scotland surrounded by flocks of sheep and the fastest wireless internet money can buy.
If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?
Another toughie. Now, again, I have two answers. My first answer has to be 1967 just so I would be able to pick up a brand-spankin-new Shelby GT500 for a tenth the cost of what it would cost today.
My smart answer would be sometime late July 2017 so I could pick the right numbers for the single largest jackpot in Powerball history. Oh look another random sentence that I’m throwing in just to increase the word count some more!
Cat or Dog?
I’ve owned both cats and dogs and while I prefer dogs, I would have to choose cat just because my job schedule keeps me away from home more often than I like.
Fun fact: I do have a 6 year old black lab mix named Fred who is kinda goofy and I love him to pieces. I’m also a dog/cat sitter on Rover on top of my TV job.
What way your first job?
I was a financial aid advisor at Santa Fe State College as part of their work study program.
What are you reading right now?
Right now? Nothing, but I did just finish “Crooked Kingdom”, the sequel to “Six of Crows” and it was Fan-f*cking-tastic!
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?
My heart wants to say the skills of an experienced motorcyclist, but my brain is telling me anything to do with computer science and programming.
What shows are you into?
Not really into watching that much television I’m more of a youtube aficionado myself, but there is one show that I’m super into and that is the CW’s “The 100”. If your into post apocalyptic Sci-Fi then this is the show for you. I will say though, and I’m probably going to incur Danis wrath, but the first few seasons are a bit rough to get through.
My Baby.
A few more tidbits about myself, I’m into too many video games, read too many books, love to run, and being just overall too reckless on my motorcycle (it’s a beautiful 1988 Honda Shadow VLX 600 that doesn’t always want to start up right away and I love her to pieces here is a picture!).
So there you have it! Another random sentence I’m tossing in to increase that sweet sweet word count and Search Engine Optimization. A little bit about me. (sort of) I hope that may have answered any burning questions you had about me or at least a glimpse of some of the stuff I’m into. If not please feel free to check episode two of our podcast; At the Coffee table: A story about people, in which Dani takes some of the time out of her day to interview yours truly! With all that said I thank you for your time and bid thee a fare well.
